The first step
The company's earliest experiences and first steps came from the initiative of the father, a pioneer in this field. In 2000, in Nova Itaberaba, Santa Catarina, his son, Jean Michel Pedra Hume, took the lead of the business and brought a new market vision, beginning an important transformation in the company's journey.
Expansion
With an eye for new opportunities, Jean broadened LJS's horizons by entering the public procurement market, taking on larger projects and new segments, while also strengthening the company's work in the private sector. This strategic vision drove a period of rapid growth, transforming a small company that began with just four employees into a large organization and a benchmark in its field.
Over the course of this journey, LJS Environmental Solutions consolidated its expertise and began to work on increasingly complex projects, becoming one of the leading companies in the waterproofing sector in Brazil and Mercosur.

Today, our work spans a wide range of solutions, including the installation of HDPE and LLDPE geomembranes for cisterns and manure reservoirs, biodigester installation, waterproofing for sanitary landfills and water reservoirs, curtain systems for poultry and swine farming, gutters and many other solutions.
